I am experienced in working with students who attend The Ark School in University Hospital Limerick when they are unwell. I did this placement with two of my classmates, Ciara and Mairead. We planned a scheme in drawing, clay and story-writing which was suitable to all age-groups and abilities as the school caters for 4-16 year olds. I had the opportunity to team-teach and collaborate with the other staff members. This approach is successful in this setting because students often needed individual assistance based on their medical need.
